Puerto Vallarta is known as one of the most vibrant and accepting cities not only in Mexico, but in the world. For that and many other reasons, MEXLend is happy to support Vallarta Pride 2015 as a proud sponsor of the Unity Art Exhibit, which will be showing from May 18th to June 18th as part of the Pride celebration.
Hosted at the Galeria Omar Alonso, the Unity Art Exhibit brings together a talented roster of international contemporary artists in a show exploring the concept of “unity”. Featured artists include Rogelio Manzo, Xawery Wolski, Claudia Alvarez, Davis Birks, Wouter Deruytter, Maximo Gonzalez, Pere Greenham, and others, that will express their perceptions on unity as they pertain to the current social, scientific and economic climate.
Vallarta Pride is now a 9 day annual event that pays tribute to the LGBT community with arts and cultural events, concerts, films, beach parties and a lot of fun, to show the world the fabulous diversity of our destination. This year, the gay pride festival in Puerto Vallarta will be held from May 17th to 25th, 2015, and aims to inspire, commemorate and celebrate a vibrant community that through the years has created its own culture, heritage and traditions.
MEXLend, the most experienced mortgage broker in Mexico, has been actively fighting for financial equal rights for LGBT couples since we opened our doors 10 years ago. Discrimination is a written policy in Mexico’s credit markets for LGBT couples and seniors and it is imperative that we continue to advocate for financial parity for all.
“MEXLend is proud of the many mortgages that we have been able to obtain for our LGBT clients through our direct efforts in changing policies at Scotiabank and BBVA Bancomer. We thank these forward-thinking banking institutions and look forward to more permanent and sweeping changes throughout the industry” said Terence Reily, CEO and founder member of MEXLend Mortgages.
MEXLend invites you to enjoy the Unity Art Exhibit whose official opening will be on Wednesday, May 20th at 7:00pm and also to visit the Fallen Fruit exhibit at OPC (Oficina de Proyectos de Culturales) on the corner of Aldama and Juarez.
