Uber-luxury and style is coming to Careyes Beach in La Huerta, Jalisco, Mexico (located approximately a 2-hour drive south of Puerto Vallarta) as the Group Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) starts 230-million-dollar construction on what they are calling a 7-star luxury property, The Cheval Blanc.
It will be the largest luxury hotel in Mexico and by all accounts, one of the most impressive elite properties in the world which will also include exclusive resorts by The Four Seasons and The One and Only Palmilla.
The property will feature an 18-hole golf course designed by Von Hagge and Baril Smellek and a marina for yachts. There will also Le 1947 restaurant which is reported to open to 2 Michelin stars.
Currently, there is one airstrip available to accommodate air traffic but 90 million Mexican pesos will be invested into the airport terminal to increase its capacity to receive aircraft with up to 170 passengers in time for the hotel’s opening in 2017.
